Midget LL 3, 2018-2019, SMHA (King Township Minor Hockey)

On January 25-27 Schomberg 3 took on teams from Barrie, Renfrew and host Lefroy and went undefeated into the final.  Schomberg played a strong game against Innisfil and took home the trophy with a solid effort from all the players and outstanding goaltending from Matthew Brunato.  

On Dec 27th Schomberg hosted its Annual Red & White Tournament.  Midget LL3 Redwings faced TNT in the final.   It was a very close game, tied at the end of regulation. Tied at the end of overtime.  The penalty shoot out was close, but the visiting TNT team scored.  A well played tournament by our guys in Red and White.  Thank you Peter Ogborn and Schomberg Minor Hockey for organizing a great day of hockey!

The Schomberg Midget LL3 ventured down to Pelham for the Niagara Regional Silver Stick on Nov 23, 24, 25.  The tournament provided good competition for the team and it went 4 Wins , 1 Tie and 0 Losses into the final.  The Red Wings played hard games against teams from Millbrook, East Gwillimbury (#3) and Pelham (#1 & #3), drawing the host Pelham teams in the Semi-Final and Final.
