New to hockey? Is your child interested in playing hockey, but needs to improve their skating skills? Schomberg Minor Hockey is pleased to offer a "Learn to Skate for Hockey" program for new skaters registering for hockey in Schomberg this year! This 4-week supplemental program is aimed at players aged 4-10 who want to get a jumpstart in learning how to skate and the basics of hockey.
We understand that walking into the arena for the first time can be intimidating, so we have designed the program to ensure a fun and positive experience for both the player and their parents! Our combination of professional instructors and on-ice volunteers will help you and your player with everything from understanding how to get dressed in the hockey equipment, to stepping on the ice for the first time, to shooting that first puck!
This program starts at the beginning of September and is offered for FREE to any new skater joining a Schomberg Minor Hockey team. Registration can be completed online as soon as you've completed the Local League registration. Sign-up now to ensure your spot!
