A big shout out to the NobleKing Midget Local League team who played 6 fast paced, competitive games in 10 days to battle for the Group
1 Playoffs after finishing 2nd in their division.
The final 2 teams from the 19 team division traded wins (and a tie in game 5!) and required a 6th game on March 29th to determine the series winner. For many of these players, this was their final game of their minor hockey careers and they showed great respect for the game and their opponents during the entire series, even after their eventual 3-1 defeat in game 6. Kudos to Coach Enzo Loccisano and his staff for managing this group and thank you to the entire team for an entertaining season, fantastic playoff series and great sportsmanship!
