Schomberg Minor Hockey LL (King Township Minor Hockey)

Once again our local league centres will partner to run skill development programs that will ensure all local league players across King receive the same high quality development opportunities. CLICK HERE for more information and to sign up! 

This year we have 2 opportunities for the kids that are looking for even more development and want to work towards the rep program. York Simcoe has added 2 programs U7CPP and U9CPP which are select teams where you would play on your local league team and in addition would have this extra practice per week.  That ice slot would also become the game slot for the team when they play games. We are looking for youth leaders to help our youngest skaters start their hockey journeys! Complete your high school volunteer hours, gain leadership experience, and make a positive contribution to minor hockey here in Schomberg. The new volunteer program is open to applicants from all U15 to U18 Local League and Rep players. 

We are deeply saddened to share the news that one of our players, Jack Shepherd, a valued member of our KTMHA membership, and player for our King Rebellion U18AA hockey team, has tragically passed away Wednesday evening in an accident. Jack was the nephew of Randy Shepherd (President of Schomberg Minor Hockey and King Minor Hockey).  Ben Shepherd, Randy’s son was also in the accident but was not injured.
