Knights Out Tournament Champions December 5–7, 2025
The first title came on home ice at our annual Knights Out Tournament, where the U21 squad delivered a strong performance from start to finish. The tournament culminated in an all-King final, with our team facing the other King LL2 U21 squad. In a hard-fought championship game, our players rose to the occasion, earning a 4–2 victory to claim the tournament title. The win was a great showcase of the program’s depth and competitiveness, and a proud moment to see two King teams battling it out in the finals.
Kevin Fegan Memorial Tournament Champions Niagara Falls | January 30 – February 1, 2026
The momentum carried into the Kevin Fegan Memorial Tournament in Niagara Falls, where the team was tested in pressure-packed situations throughout the playoff round. In the semifinals, our group faced a strong Collingwood team in a tightly contested game that went all the way to a shootout, where our players held their nerve to secure a spot in the finals. The championship game brought another dramatic finish. After tying 1–1 in the round robin against the Lambeth Lancers earlier in the tournament, the two teams met again in the finals. Once again, the game was deadlocked after regulation and overtime, and once again, our U21 team delivered in the shootout, capturing their second tournament championship.
Winning back-to-back tournaments, including two shootout victories under pressure, is a testament to the team’s work ethic, composure, and commitment to one another. From solid goaltending to timely scoring and disciplined team play, every player contributed to this success.
Congratulations to the entire U21 team on a remarkable achievement and a season highlight that will be remembered for a long time.
