A big congratulations to our U13AA Rebellion team who took home the OMHA Championship this past weekend in Oakville. They were 2-0-1 after round robin play through the tournament. After a convincing semi-final win over Milton, our U13AA team beat Richmond Hill 4-2 in the finals! Next up, they are off to the OHFs "All Ontario" Championships in Timmins April 19th-21st! Congratulations to the players, coaches and families! Good Luck in Timmins!!

Once again King Minor Hockey is hosting safe contact clinics. These clinics are for all players attending the U14 tryouts and any U13 aged players wishing to attend U14 tryouts or wishing to AP to a contact team. In 1837, the colonial citizens of King Township, frustrated by government corruption and British oppression, marched on the City of York, in an attempt to overthrow the British garrison and create an independent country. Although the initial Rebellion failed, the protest movement sparked by the Rebellion eventually lead to the Union of Upper and Lower Canada, and Canadian Confederation in 1867. The rebels of King Township played a pivotal role in creating the Canada we know today. That is King Township's proud heritage.
